Untargeted healing may hit an NPC with Interact Key enabled

Description
reportedly behaves differently when Enable Interact Key is enabled. With no selected target, a friendly spell lands on a nearby friendly NPC. The author states that the recording uses no addons or macros.
Effect
Check who receives an untargeted heal before relying on it in combat. Disabling the setting helped the author.
How to reproduce it
- In a safe location, enable Enable Interact Key and set Self Cast to Auto.
- Stand near a friendly NPC, clear your target and cast a friendly spell. Check the recipient.
- Disable Enable Interact Key and repeat. The report says this second test targets the player.
