Vending BoE gear with a new appearance now makes it soulbound
Check whether the appearance is collected before selling to a vendor. If not, the item becomes soulbound instead of account-bound.

Description
Blizzard changed the rule for a whose appearance you have not collected. Selling it to a vendor now makes it soulbound. It previously became bound to account. This applies to NPC vendor sales.
Effect
If you planned to move the item to another character after vending it, check the appearance first. The new binding may prevent that route.
How to get it
- Check whether the ’s appearance is already collected for your character.
- If it is not and another character needs the item, decide on the transfer before vending it.
- After selling, inspect the item’s binding. Blizzard did not specify buyback conditions.
