Blizzard announced a fix for mana potions in Bear and Cat forms. The old report concerns the previous build. No independent post-update test was found. Before the update: Archive backfill: a September 24 report describes a Druid problem in . When Mana is low but Energy is full at 100, using a mana potion shows 'You are already at full Energy.' The reporter says the potion restores Mana if Energy is below 100. On October 8 the reporter asked for an update, and the community tracker maintainer replied that the issue should be fixed October 15. The issue is closed with a Fixed label, but that does not show a fix on build 1.60.1.70245. The reporter gave no potion name, character level or build number.
Effect
A Druid who holds full Energy before a fight may miss an expected Mana recovery. Check the potion before a difficult pull if it matters, and account for the reported condition.
How to reproduce it
- As a Druid with learned (the Forever entry lists level 20), take a mana potion usable at your level. The report does not identify a specific potion.
- Spend Mana, enter and wait for 100 Energy. Try using the potion. The reporter saw the full-Energy message instead of Mana recovery.
- For comparison, spend some Energy and try another potion after its normal cooldown. The reporter says Mana is restored below full Energy. Record the build, potion name, Mana and Energy values for a new report.
