Druids can use consumables without leaving Bear Form
A beta test shows an elixir used in combat while staying shapeshifted. An old cancelform macro can still undo that.
Description
Wowhead’s author used in combat, kept and gained its one-hour buff. Independent Forever players also report using potions in form. The database allows Druids to use from level 4 for 20-40 Rage. itself comes from a class quest at level 10.
Effect
A tank can use the tested consumable without voluntarily losing form. The elixir provides slow regeneration. offers a resource option, not healing.
How to reproduce it
- Unlock and obtain a suitable consumable. reproduces the published test.
- Put the item itself on your bar. An old macro containing /cancelform will still cancel your form. Remove that command or use the item button.
- Test in a safe fight first. Confirm that remains and the item buff appears before relying on it in a group.
- Test in . Follow the client’s displayed cooldown and do not assume all Engineering or quest items behave the same way.
Further conditions
- Item values come from Forever data, not old Thottbot comments. Keeping form with these items does not prove compatibility for every usable item.
