Entering Bear Form resets Cat energy with Furor
Blizzard stated this rule on September 30. A beta player reported the same result. Spend your Cat energy before shifting into .
Description
This fills an archive gap. Blizzard explained on September 30 that with five points, regenerates Energy outside , but entering loses all of it. The rule is meant to prevent using repeated Cat and Bear shifts for extra damage. On October 3, a beta player reported zero Energy after shifting from Cat to Bear and back. A Wowhead analysis published on October 7 describes the same result. The rank-one text in the Forever database may suggest otherwise, so use Blizzard's explanation when planning a shift and check the result in your client.
Effect
Spend available Cat energy before shifting into for defense. After returning to , can grant 40 Energy if you have that talent and enough Mana.

How to reproduce it
- As a Druid with and , learn . is available through a class chain from level 20, and through a chain from level 10. Blizzard describes this rule at five points.
- Build Energy in and record the value. Shift into , then return to and compare. Blizzard says the Energy is lost, one beta player reported that result.
- If you need Energy quickly after shifting, check whether you can learn in the Feral tree. It grants 40 Energy for 55% base Mana with a 16-second cooldown. Its exact unlock level is unverified.
