Tracker clarifies the flat damage error in Shred's tooltip
hit for less than its tooltip suggests. A community tracker maintainer identified an error in the flat damage text. A damage calculation bug was not established.
Status: Issue closed after the tooltip error was identified. A fix to the in-game text has not been verified.
Description
This fills an archive gap. On October 2, a level-22 Druid compared with and white hits against a in . The player measured 56-65 damage instead of the 67-76 expected from the tooltip. The Forever tooltip says 155% damage plus 54, while its effect record shows a value of 25. On October 7, AidanZMoon, a community tracker maintainer, identified the flat damage number in the tooltip as the error. They did not provide an in-game test of a fix.
Effect
When comparing Druid attacks, do not calculate damage from the tooltip's +54 figure. A tooltip fix has not been announced.

How to reproduce it
- As a level-22 Druid with and , choose a same-level target. The original test used a in .
- Record white hits, damage and damage against that target. Move behind the target to use . Separate normal hits from critical hits.
- Compare the result with the tooltip. Include the client build in a new report if the text changes. The original test predates October 7, and we found no repeat test in the current build.

Compared the formula and said the flat value stayed from an older multiplier. This is a participant's analysis, not a separate build test.
