In the October 1 update, Blizzard separately reduced the extra XP from dungeon quests by 50% beyond normal quest values. This does not halve the entire quest reward, and the notes do not announce a new change to kill XP. Players disagree about repeat-run value, but those opinions do not replace the quest-log numbers.
Effect
Collect dungeon quests for items and their normal rewards. If leveling speed is the goal, compare actual XP from a first quest run with an outdoor route.
How to reproduce it
- Pick up eligible dungeon quests before your first run.
- Check XP after turning them in. Blizzard reduced the extra bonus, not the full quest reward.
- Record kill XP separately. These notes do not announce another change to that rate.
