An addon restores sparkles on quest objects
makes lootable quest objects sparkle again. It supports client 1.60.1 and changes outline settings.
Description
Archive backfill. The author released on October 6 for the Forever 1.60.1 client. The addon enables the sparkle on lootable quest objects and turns off outline mode, which suppresses that effect. It restores the settings at login and after a graphics preset change. The author shows before-and-after screenshots, and Icy Veins covered the addon on October 7. This is a third-party tool, not a Blizzard change.
Effect
If a quest crate, sack or plant is hard to see, the sparkle helps distinguish a lootable object from its surroundings.
How to reproduce it
- Open the page on CurseForge and select the file for the Forever 1.60.1 client. Version 1.1.1 was released on October 6.
- Extract ForeverLootSparkles into _classic_beta_/Interface/AddOns, then restart the game or type /reload.
- Under Esc > Options > AddOns > , check Show . It is enabled by default.
- The addon turns outline mode off. It works on lootable quest objects, not herbs or ore. Disabling the addon alone leaves saved client settings in place. Restore a graphics preset or follow the author’s instructions, then restart the game.

- This addon does not fix an empty quest chest or failed loot. It only changes object visibility.
