Quest items are shared more evenly within a group
Quest items now reach group members more evenly. The base chance for an item to drop has not changed.

Description
On September 26, developer Josh Greenfield explained . If one member has already received more required items, the system tends to direct later drops to other members. He also said the base item drop chance has not increased compared with Vanilla or Classic. A smoother spread can therefore feel like a higher drop rate.
Effect
For collect-X quests, a group is less likely to leave one person far behind. This also explains why an item may go to a teammate after you have already looted several. It does not mean every mob rewards every player.
How to reproduce it
- For quests with personal item drops, form a group and kill the required enemies together.
- Compare each member's progress. If later drops go to someone else, let the distribution even out before the group disbands.
- Do not plan around a higher base drop rate: the developer says that rate has not changed.
Further conditions
- This describes , not every group loot drop or every shared boss-head objective.
