The ten-book necklaces are now uncommon with lower stats. now grants 5 Intellect, while grants 7 Agility and 7 Stamina with no Strength. Wowhead reports that the rings dropped from item level 40 to 35.

The Forever database lists the bow at item level 45 with 46-87 damage, 2.80 speed, 7 Agility and 3 Stamina. Its tooltip shows no equip-level requirement. The shield and off-hand require level 40. Icy Veins reports that the quest opens at level 30. Player Creatoh reports receiving the bow at twenty-five books and equipping it on a level-30 Hunter. This is a current-beta player report, not a promise for later builds. Earlier milestones grant necklaces at ten books and rings at twenty. On October 3, the necklaces became uncommon and lost stats. The rings were also reduced. The Rogue restriction on was removed earlier.
Effect
At the current beta cap, the bow may be useful for classes that can equip bows. The shield and off-hand must wait until level 40. The new milestone also gives collectors a reason to find five more distinct titles after the ring.

How to get it
- The bow requires level 40. Do not plan to use it at the beta cap of 30.
- Take a book to your faction librarian. is inside ’s Mage Tower. The new report gives 49.0,86.4. is in ’s Magic Quarter, 74.0,32.4. Database maps retain older points, so use the building and NPC as landmarks.
- Turn in distinct titles. Duplicates do not advance the count.
- The Forever database has no Rogue restriction.
- Find five more distinct books. At level 30, check the at your librarian. Player comments on quest ID 82208 report the threshold, but we have not completed it in the client.
- Inspect the current reward tooltips before choosing. Truthseeker Bow now requires level 40. The old advice that it was equippable at the beta cap of 30 no longer applies.
Further conditions
- Updated September 28: exact necklaces, second-quest level and a route from Patrickjarvis324’s report added.
- Wowhead’s report says Mages learn after their first book. Database tooltip lists level 6, , a six-second cast and a one-hour cooldown. The article says one day, which conflicts with the tooltip. Check your client timer.
- One Wowhead tester reported opening a profession window, a client/PC crash and the ability disappearing. This is a single report with no verified workaround. Do not rely on steady scroll output.
- Warcraft Tavern says some book coordinates in its new guide come from Season of Discovery.
