Some players still cannot loot the journal at The Great Lift
Two players on October 7 could not loot the Alliance quest journal: the interaction bar finished with “There is no loot.” An earlier report described a different error.
Status: Loot failure was reported again on October 7. No official fix for the new symptom is confirmed.
Description
Alliance players in the Forever beta again report that at in does not yield the item. On October 7, one player tried for ten minutes: the interaction bar finished, then the game said 'There is no loot.' Another player reported the same result that evening. An older tracker issue about 'That is already being used' was closed after its author obtained the item on October 6. That does not establish that the new behavior is fixed. The players did not name their client builds.
Effect
If you are going for , check that you can collect the item before planning the rest of the chain. Results may differ by character or layer, but the frequency is unknown.
How to reproduce it
- Use an Alliance character at level 29 or higher. Go down into and find the journal beside the dwarf's body near the lift. Exact coordinates in the current beta are unverified.
- Try to loot . Check whether the interaction bar completes and the item arrives. One player saw 'There is no loot' after the bar on October 7. Another confirmed the same result.
- If no item arrives, record your client build, realm and layer if known, time and exact error text. Add those details to the original Blizzard forum thread. Retest after a realm restart instead of treating the older closed issue as proof of a fix.
