Missed dungeon loot can arrive by mail
Archive catch-up: Wowhead documented mailed loot that players missed inside dungeons. Check mail if your bags were full.
Description
On September 21, Wowhead covered a dungeon loot recovery system. A player screenshot shows mail from , the recovery sender. is the goblin signing the message. The source does not require visiting him. The item arrives in the character mailbox.
Effect
If full bags or a missed corpse kept you from collecting dungeon loot, check your mail before rerunning the instance. This is not a promise that every item is returned: exact item types, delivery time, and group loot cases have not been specified.

How to reproduce it
- After leaving the dungeon, free some bag space.
- Open a mailbox on that character and look for mail from signed by .
- If no mail arrives, record the dungeon, item, time, and loot method for a bug report. Do not intentionally leave valuable loot behind until the recovery rules are clearer.
Further conditions
- This catches up with a September 21 report. It is not a change to todayβs build.
- Player comments about using the system to mail all unwanted items are speculation, not verified rules.

Suggested the system may reduce the need for free bag slots. This is an opinion, not proof it covers every drop.
