Level-16 Mage: Iceknife scroll adds a dagger freeze
The scroll property is verified in the database. A player published a proc test. This is an experiment, not a proven best build.
Description
requires a level-16 Mage. affects your own dagger for one hour, allowing hits to freeze enemies. Awrfyu_ reports 30 procs across 278 duel swings, with misses included in the counter. They observed a five-second freeze that remained through damage. That behavior has not been independently retested.
Effect
This offers an unusual weapon-based control experiment. One sample does not establish a fixed proc chance. Random procs make results uneven, and an advantage over normal Mage play is not proven.
How to reproduce it
- If you have the scroll, check its level-16 Mage restriction. The player mentions farming scrolls in dungeons, but this scroll’s exact source and drop chance are not established.
- Select a dagger you own and apply . does not apply to a sword.
- Test in a safe duel or on an ordinary enemy. Record swings, misses, proc count and whether damage breaks the effect separately.
- Compare on matching targets. Do not assume a boss can be frozen or present a lucky damage spike as consistent performance.
Further conditions
- The author’s percentage calculation is inconsistent. We give the original 30 procs and 278 swings without promising a fixed chance.
