Fresh characters have intact boots. The original test used Priests created before the patch.

: on October 11, wrtsdf clarified that the original characters predated the latest patch. Fresh Priests have intact boots. raethkcj attributes the one-time durability loss to updated Armor on old starting items. This is the community tracker maintainer’s explanation, not a Blizzard statement.
Effect
Check your gear before the first fights. A single report does not mean every new Priest receives broken boots.
How to reproduce it
- Check the starting boots on a fresh Priest.
- For a character created before the patch, check vendor repairs.
- If a fresh character has zero durability, add its creation time, build and screenshot to the original report.
