The community runs . Stories with sourced coordinates open the relevant zone through an embedded view of that original map. This site does not redraw the map or invent locations.
Effect
Readers can inspect the zone and compare a route without searching through separate images.
How to reproduce it
- In a location story, choose “Open interactive map”.
- Select a location if the discovery has several steps.
- Open the map in a new tab for a larger view, and check coordinates against the story’s direct source.
