Pin a profession recipe and share your recipe book in chat
lists materials beside your quests. The profession panel also has search and filters, and a chat button to share your recipes.
Description
Wowhead checked three Forever profession panel features: shows needed materials on the right. The chat button shares a profession-book link. Filters show recipes by skill-up, materials owned and gear slot. There is also a search box.
Effect
You can gather materials without repeatedly reopening the craft window. Pin the recipe you are working on. One commenter says a shared profession link opened their own panel instead of the sender’s. This is one report, not a confirmed universal bug.
How to reproduce it
- Open a learned profession and select a recipe. Tick near Create All to show materials on the right.
- Use Has skill up to find recipes that increase your skill. Use Have materials to see what you can make now. Slots narrows the list by gear slot, and the search bar finds a recipe by name.
- To share, click the chat icon to the right of the skill bar and choose a channel. If the link fails to show the other player’s recipes, ask for a specific recipe link and report the issue in game.
