Classes and races Miss fix: Blizzard notes October 2, 2026, 01:56 MSK. New interaction: Blizzard article October 8, 2026, 01:00 MSK, modified 02:36 MSK. Checked October 8.
Expose Armor no longer blocks Warrior threat building
Blizzard clarified that Warriors may use while is active. A weaker Sunder will not replace it. The earlier missed-finisher Combo Point fix also remains.
Updated What changed
On October 8, Blizzard clarified that reduces Armor by roughly five stacks at a comparable level. Warriors can still use Sunder for threat, and a weaker Sunder effect does not overwrite Expose.
Description
On October 2, Blizzard listed a fix for losing Combo Points when misses. Its October 8 Rogue article clarified another rule: reduces Armor by roughly five stacks at a comparable level. A Warrior can keep using on that target for threat, but a weaker Sunder effect will not overwrite the Rogue's active reduction.
Effect
A group with a Rogue can reduce target Armor while its Warrior continues building threat. A missed finisher should no longer erase saved Combo Points.
How to reproduce it
- At level 14 or above, the Rogue builds Combo Points and uses on a target that will live long enough for group damage.
- The Warrior uses on that target to generate threat. Check the debuff icons: a weaker Sunder should not replace the Rogue's reduction.
- If misses, check whether Combo Points remain. If the old bug recurs, save a combat log and report it to Blizzard.
