Level 30 Rogues can strengthen a two-weapon strike with poison
The new Assassination costs 60 Energy, needs two daggers and deals 20% more damage to a poisoned target. is available at level 30.
Description
In its October 8 class article, Blizzard described as a 21-point Assassination talent. It strikes with both hands, requires a dagger in each, and grants two Combo Points. The Forever record gives rank 1 at level 30: 60 Energy, 75% weapon damage plus 17 per hand, and 20% more damage against a poisoned target. at level 30 applies a 12-second Nature damage effect. A Wowhead guide author used the build in the level-30 beta.
Effect
Rogues can use the new talent's intended combination at the current level cap. 's bonus requires the target to already be poisoned, so attack order matters.
How to reproduce it
- At level 30, spend 21 points in Assassination and take rank 1. Equip a dagger in each hand.
- Learn rank 1 and apply it to a weapon. When it procs, the target carries a 12-second poison effect.
- Use for 60 Energy while the target is poisoned. It grants two Combo Points. If you already have four or more, spend them with a finishing move first so the new points are not wasted.
- Without a second dagger or a poison effect on the target, do not expect the described combination or its damage bonus.
