Demonic Brand 3/3: one player cannot spend all six charges
One Warlock saw four empowered pet attacks in ten seconds instead of six. Blizzard has not confirmed a defect.
Status: Single report. No fix announced. Reproducibility on 1.60.1.70245 is unverified.
Description
On October 8, player Nuclei reported that 3/3 marks a target for 10 seconds while a pet with a normal 2.0-second attack speed lands four of six empowered attacks. The direct Forever entry shows a 10-second mark and six charges at rank 3, but its displayed wording says three attacks, so the page is internally inconsistent. Blizzard's overview describes only the basic two attacks. There is no separate reproduction on build 1.60.1.70245 or developer response to this report.
Effect
Do not assume all six charges will be used when estimating pet damage. The published level-30 guide advises recasting when the mark fades, about every six seconds.

How to reproduce it
- As a Warlock of level 25 or higher, take 3/3 in Demonology and summon a pet. The report uses normal 2.0-second pet attack speed. It does not identify the exact pet used for the main test.
- Cast on one target to start the ten-second mark. Keep the same target and count pet hits with bonus damage before the mark expires.
- Compare the count with the Forever data value of six charges for rank 3. If you reproduce the result, refresh the mark as it drops and add a combat log, pet, talents and build number to the report. These are test steps, not a confirmed fix.
What players report
- Nuclei, Blizzard forum
The reporter counted four triggers with a pet's normal 2.0-second attack speed. A fifth with Lash of Pain was considered possible, not certain.
